Our Teen Tech Center is located in the Teen Center of our main Jennifer Loscher Branch.
The space houses start-of-the-art technology, offering teen members, ages 13-18, the opportunity to explore and collaborate with technology through project-based learning. Members can explore a wide several different areas of technology including graphic design, sound and video production, digital photography, and more!
Membership for high school students is just $50 for the entire school year. Visit our main branch to learn more about our Teen Tech Center and take a tour of the facility.
Career Pathways
Prepare for a Career in the 21st Century
Career Pathways is a workforce and college readiness program designed to expose students, to real-world experience in their fields of interest and access technology, career, and leadership opportunities while building skills for the future. Career Pathways is based out of the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos' Teen Tech Center and aims to engage high school teens, ages 16 and up. Members participate in weekly workshops to explore and enhance communication skills, professionalism, and job readiness capacities, with opportunities to interact with professionals from the fields of their interest.

The Career Pathways program requires participants to commit to:
- One 1–2 hour session per week from November through May, excluding holidays.
- A summer internship or first-job opportunity from June through August, if placed. (Please note: summer internship/job placements are NOT a guarantee)
Application Requirements
To be considered for the Career Pathways program, applicants must complete the following:
- Submit a completed Career Pathways application.
- Participate in an in-person interview with Miss Joy.
- Applications must be submitted by Tuesday, October 6, 2026.
You will be notified of your acceptance status via email by Friday, October 23, 2026.
