How it Works

Richland Elementary Morning Transportation Program

  • Members are dropped off to the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos (1 Positive Place, San Marcos, CA 92069) between 6:30 a.m. and 8:00 a.m.
  • Members are transported to Richland Elementary by a staff member in a Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos van.

Afterschool Transportation Program

  • Members meet a Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos staff member at a predetermined meeting spot on campus no more than 10 minutes after the final bell.
  • BGCSM staff supervise members on campus for approximately 30 minutes until the bus arrives. Waiting time will be used for homework and academic support from BGCSM staff.
  • Members are escorted by the staff member onto the bus (provided by San Marcos Unified School District) and transported to the after school program at the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos' main Jennifer Loscher Branch (1 Positive Place, San Marcos, CA 92069).
  • Members MUST be picked up at the Boys & Girls Club of San Marcos main branch before the end of program at 6:00 p.m. Transportation will not be provided back to any of the schools.
